So, Yoshi's sutures opened up at one in the morning, nine days after being spayed. She proceeded to bleed, bleed, step in blood and bleed from the wound in her stomach.
They made her into the monster seen above at the emergency vet. It made us $213 poorer!
The kicker was when, on the way to the vet, the AC in our car started making a horribly loud clicking sound before it stopped cooling altogether.
Don't know what we're doing now. If we're going to Connecticut the day after tomorrow or the vet again. Supposedly, this could be a very normal complication called a seroma... just a pocket of fluid that collected between her inner and outer suturings.
Problem is, she wiggled out of her cone two minutes after we walked in the door and wiggled out of her bandages 3 times in the first hour. This isn't fun at all.
