Statue

By now it may be apparent that www.ribcage.org is a statue. Something that I built and it was a work in progress and then it just stopped being a work in progress and now it's just... a statue. You can always go there and look at it, but it doesn't change. Not anymore.

This is okay with me, you know.

The characters and the story is not a statue, just the website and that whole weekly story thing that I so loved at a time when I made my own schedule.

I want to finish this thing right. I want to finish it as one big book. And I know you'll be happy when I do. Happier than one smile a week... a book would be a bunch of smiles all night long. It'll mess your hair up. You'll need a cigarette. It'll be like the first time. Even the stories you've already read. Because they'll be fixed up real nice. New and expensive makeup.

I will most likely end things (for now) a little more satisfying with lots of new stories and all in a second volume of stories from the site sometime very soon.

Then I'll work on a full and fully reworked, finished work encompassing everything. That... that will take some time. But like I said... It'll mess your hair up. It will of course include everything I have in my head for the third volume of stories. You know, the end of the whole story. It won't have anything to do with a webstie. It will just be a book that no one is intimidated to read because everything you need to know is between the covers. Repeat readers over at Ribcage were always very scarce. Embarassingly scarce. I choose to chock it up to intimidation. Or reading shit on a computer screen.

I've written many posts in the past few weeks, you know... I just didn't post them. I could bitch about work all the all of the time. And I meant that double all thing at the end of that sentence. I could bitch about work all the all of the time.

I'm just choosing not to do that here anymore.

If I have more interesting things to say here... and if they're said in more interesting ways, ribcage.org will not come as such a loss. And then one day BAM. THE SEX MAGIC OF A BIG OL' RIBCAGE BOOK THAT READS STRAIGHT THROUGH AND READS WELL.
