I've been reading about Prednisone as research for the book... it's kind of scary. I found a site that says it's overprescribed for Asthma and it's overprescribed in young kids, because of the "devastating" side effects. The main side effect being "increased appetite, leading to weight gain." All of the sites I read, also made a point to mention that it increased fat deposits in the face especially, giving a "moon-faced" appearance.
That said... here are two pictures of me. One on my fourth birthday... and one at around the age of six. Sometime after I turned four, I went on Prednisone.
