I'm to be up in

I'm to be up in a little over seven hours to make it to the airport on time, so I'll have to make this brief.

 

The photo shoot was smooth and painless and also concrete evidence of how far we've come.  I mean, I believe it's our first family portrait in over ten years.  And it's for a book jacket!  How strange.  Standing in front of a video camera and filming the show is far less ego fluffing than standing in front of flashbulbs and watching rolls of film drop like machine gun shells.

 

I left with one of the polaroid proofs they made.  It's only a polaroid, but it came out really nice.  I don't have a scanner, so you'll just have to buy the book when it comes out in January.  Ha.
