I wanted to audioblog this.

I wanted to audioblog this. This is just too much to say at seven in the morning. Amy left not too long ago. We were playing Scrabble. Her, Jeremy and I. This was our night. Scrabble and Wildboyz and good times.

Today, yesterday now, was an important day. A day to purchase a new tire for Jeremy's car. Purchase a lawnmower and assemble it; mow the lawn. A visit to the gym.

Amy and Allison and a third girl, Jess on the phone. Road trip. They're saying, "Road trip."

Today, yesterday now, was going to go nothing like we planned. Let me say that there is no new tire. There is no new lawnmower. There is just more overgrowth in my backyard. More green.

Let me say something about Amy and her "props" purchased at a party supply store prior to our disembarkment. Hawaiian leis that never left our necks and other cornball fun. She wore a fake moustache.

Tomorrow I'm going to post the pictures and maybe some of the stream of consciousness / observations I took in my notebook throughout the day. But for now, I'll drop mention of the covered bridges and climbing down onto the rocks of a flowing dam. The field hockey. The giant soda cans; giant apples and one particularly out of place crow. The old steam engine. The general store with the three legged dog where we ate lunch. The giant chimney. The haunted cellars deep within the woods that we drove around and around but didn't venture in... not today anyway. The Gravitron. Finally a visit to the edge of Long Island Sound for no reason at all and then eventually my house; Scrabble.

So yeah. Today went a little different than expected.

I don't think I can complain about not doing anything anymore. I think I've officially been to every corner of Connecticut now.

More after I sleep...
