So I should probably, and never did, mention that my father got the first draft of his Food Network contract. It is, as we all expected not a "complete" buttload of money, but not too shabby either. Should be plenty to sustain us. Of course... now it's on to the book deals, product endorsements and other things that are the "real" money.
